I'd be curious whether the next edition of the book includes, say, George Galloway's blistering testimony before the US Senate in in 2005, or Steve Jobs' unveiling of the iPhone. While the modern population is much larger than in earlier times - and there might therefore be more momentous speeches nowadays than in earlier ages - one gets the impression that this has been a Golden Age of Oratory.
